Howard Kim began their work experience in 2008 at HanbitSoft Inc., where they held roles as a Product Manager and Assistant Development Manager. Howard then worked as a Legal Intern at the National Prosecutor's Office in 2013 before joining Just Advice Legal Clinic. At Just Advice Legal Clinic, Howard was a MD Rule 16 Attorney and later became a Supervisory MD Rule 16 Attorney. Howard then transitioned to ALG Lawyers as a Law Clerk before joining Hana Small Business Lending, Inc. as a VP, Special Assets Manager. After their time at Hana Small Business Lending, Howard worked at Open Bank as an FVP, SBA Servicing/Liquidation Manager. Most recently, they have been working at Harvest as the SVP, Special Assets Manager.

Howard Kim attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Howard then pursued their Juris Doctor degree at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, graduating between 2012 and 2015. Before this, they completed their high school education at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Howard Kim obtained a certification as an SBA 7(a) Loan Liquidation Specialist from the Coleman Report in August 2018.
