Jay Ward

Field Operations at Harvest Operations Corp.

Jay Ward began their work experience in 1995 as an Operator at Spire Energy Ltd. Jay later worked at Rio Alto Exploration as an Operator from 2000 to 2001. In 2005, they became a Contract Lead Operator at Ketch Resources Trust, and then moved on to work as a Contract Lead Operator at Advantage Oil & Gas Ltd. from 2006 to 2009. Jay then joined NuVista Energy Ltd. as a Contract Lead Operator from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Contract Operator at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL). In 2016, they joined Seven Generations Energy Ltd. as a Contract Operator until 2017. Jay then worked at Shanghai Energy Corp. from 2018 to 2019, starting as an Operator and later becoming a Lead Operator. In 2019, they joined Harvest Operations Corp. as Field Operations. Jay also has experience as the owner of WFOT Inc. since 2005.

Jay Ward's education history begins in 1989 when they earned an advanced diploma from Ctcs. In 1989-1990, they attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) and obtained a Millwright certificate. Then, in 2007-2008, Jay attended Lakeland College Canada, where they focused on gas processing and field operations. Later, in 2015-2016, they returned to Lakeland College Canada to pursue a degree in Fired Process Heater Operator, specializing in ABSA.
