Maintenance Supervisor Black Gold Project at Harvest Operations Corp.

Randy H. has over 40 years of work experience in various roles within the oil and gas industry. Randy began their career as an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic-Lead hand at J.E.M Machine Works LTD in 1978. From 1981 to 1989, they worked as a Service Rep at Cooper Energy Services, where they focused on commissioning, overhaul, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of natural gas engines, compressors, turbines, gearbox, and centrifugal compressors. Randy then joined Amoco Canada Petroleum as a Mechanical Coordinator, where they maintained rotating equipment, supervised maintenance programs, plant turnarounds, overhauls, emergency repairs, and contract labor for several plants and compressors.

In the early 1990s, Randy worked at Crestar Energy as a Dual Ticket Craftsman, responsible for maintaining rotating equipment, coordinating preventive and proactive maintenance programs, plant turnarounds, overhauls, emergency repairs, and contract labor for multiple gas-processing plants, compressors, and oil batteries. Randy continued similar work at Gulf Canada Resources, where they maintained equipment for a sour gas-processing plant, a hydrocarbon dew point control plant, natural gas compressors, and oil batteries, and also coordinated and supervised maintenance programs, turnarounds, overhauls, emergency repairs, and contract labor.

In 2002, Randy joined ConocoPhillips Canada as a Maintenance Planner, using the Maximo computerized maintenance management system to plan and delegate maintenance activities and process work requests and orders. Randy then became a Maintenance & Reliability Foreman, supervising a team of maintenance staff and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities of oil and gas operations in the Southern Plains region, using the SAP computerized maintenance management system.

From 2010 to 2011, Randy worked as a Mechanical Reliability Specialist at ConocoPhillips Canada Oilsands - SAGD. Randy then joined Fluor Corporation in 2012 as a Quality Assurance - Preservation Manager, responsible for ensuring quality and preservation standards were met. Finally, they joined Harvest Operations Corp. in 2014 as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Black Gold Project, where they currently work. Randy H. attended Medicine Hat High School from 1975 to 1978, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.
