Harvesters--The Community Food Network
Christopher Harris is an experienced IT professional currently serving as IT Systems Manager at Harvesters--The Community Food Network since July 2016, with prior roles as System Administrator and Information Technology Specialist. Christopher began contributing to Harvesters as a Quality Assurance Intern from January to May 2016, where responsibilities included developing training programs for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and managing IT Helpdesk functions. Earlier experience includes a Practicum Student position at Avila University, supporting hardware configurations, deployments, and helpdesk management, as well as working as Information Technology Staff for Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Avila University, completed in 2016.

Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri. Our mission is to mobilize the power of our community to create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes of hunger. Our network provides food and household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others.
