Sarah Biles, APR has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Sarah began their career as a News Anchor and Reporter at KFEQ Radio from 1991 to 1993. Sarah then worked as an Assignment Manager at KQTV for six months in 1994. Sarah then joined WDAF-TV as a News Producer, where they supervised a team and produced daily live newscasts. In 2000, they transitioned to become the Director of Community Relations at Union Station Kansas City, leading marketing, public relations, and community outreach efforts. Sarah played an active role in strategic planning and decision-making for the organization. From 2011 to 2015, Sarah worked as a Communications Manager and later as the Director of Communications at Harvesters--The Community Food Network. In these roles, they developed marketing and communications strategies targeting external and internal audiences, managed the organization's brand identity, and built relationships with media partners. Sarah's experience also includes leading projects for website development and managing digital communications.
Sarah Biles, APR attended The Barstow School from 1982 to 1986, focusing on College Prep. Following this, they pursued their higher education at DePauw University from 1986 to 1990. At DePauw, they earned Bachelor's Degrees in Communication and English. In June 2023, Sarah also obtained a certification in Textio Interrupting Bias in Hiring from Textio.
