Harvesters--The Community Food Network
Sarah Wittrock is an experienced professional in volunteer engagement, youth development, and program management. Since May 2019, Sarah has served as the Volunteer Engagement Center Manager at Harvesters--The Community Food Network. Prior to this role, Sarah worked at the Sioux Falls Family YMCA in various capacities, ultimately becoming the Senior Program Director, managing youth sports, childcare, and membership programs. Sarah’s career includes roles such as Youth Development Director and Operations Support Manager, where significant achievements included stabilizing basketball programs and enhancing marketing communications. Earlier positions included teaching, site supervision, and ministry leadership at multiple organizations. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Education/Director of Christian Education from Concordia University, Nebraska.

Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri. Our mission is to mobilize the power of our community to create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes of hunger. Our network provides food and household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others.
