María Paz Lestido

María Paz Lestido is a Legal Product Specialist at Harvey since October 2025, following a substantial career at Freshfields as a Senior Associate and Associate from August 2018 to October 2025. Lestido co-founded and served on the Executive Committee of the DC Very Young Arbitration Practitioners from July 2019 to December 2021. Academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Professor of Negotiation, Conciliation, and Arbitration, as well as Commercial Law at Universidad de Montevideo between March 2016 and July 2017. Lestido holds a Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School and a Doctorate in Law (JD equivalent) from Universidad de Montevideo, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Navarra. Early professional experience includes roles as an Associate and Trainee at Posadas, Posadas & Vecino from 2014 to 2017.
