Harvey Mudd College
James Clinton is an accomplished engineering student at Harvey Mudd College, set to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as the Advanced Systems Engineering Head Grader, James manages a grading team and coordinates feedback logistics for coursework. Experience includes significant research roles such as a Research Assistant at the PoSMLab, where James explored the mechanics of jumping robots, and at the ARCS Lab, focused on hybrid robotic designs for rescue operations. Past positions involve tutoring and grading in computer science, as well as a summer scholarship at Carnegie Mellon University, where James designed innovative mechanisms for PuzzleBots. Additional research contributions include developing agricultural robots for yield estimation and presenting findings at prestigious conferences.
