Marco Antonio Valenzuela

VP, Student Affairs & Dean, Students at Harvey Mudd College

With over 18 years of experience in higher education, Marco serves as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students and is currently an adjunct faculty member at Claremont Graduate University. He previously served as the associate dean of students and director of residential life at Mudd, and worked at a number of other colleges and universities, including Pomona College, Woodbury University, The Ohio State University, UC Irvine, Johns Hopkins University, Hawai’i Pacific University and the University of La Verne. Marco is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, with B.A.s in film studies and psychology. Marco received his master’s in higher education student affairs from The Ohio State University and his doctorate in educational leadership from UCLA.
