William Knauer

Head of School at The Harvey School

William Knauer has been working in education for over 25 years. William began their career as an English teacher at the Munich International School. William then moved to the Riverdale Country School where they were an educational technology specialist and English teacher. In 2004, they became the director of technology at The Packer Collegiate Institute. William held this position for five years before being promoted to assistant head of school. In 2012, they left The Packer Collegiate Institute to become the head of school at the Benjamin Franklin International School in Barcelona, Spain. William held this position for four years before returning to the United States to become the head of school at HARVEY SCHOOL.

William Knauer's educational career includes earning a certification in Information Systems Analysis and Design from Columbia University in the City of New York, a Master of Arts in English from Middlebury College, and a Master of Arts in Teaching in English and EAL from The College of New Jersey. William also has a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Michigan.
