Sarah West

Sarah West is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the maritime sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive at Harwich Haven Authority since October 2022, Sarah has previously held key positions including Interim COO and Implementation Director at Port of Aberdeen, and Chief Operations Officer at Port of Dover. With a strong background in risk and resilience as Group Head at Associated British Ports, Sarah also managed the Humber International Terminal. Prior to a successful civilian career, Sarah served in the Royal Navy for 20 years, reaching the rank of Commander. Academically, Sarah holds a Master's degree in Development Management and two Bachelor's degrees in Law and Applied Mathematics with Statistics from The Open University and the University of Hertfordshire, respectively.
