Gracia Ribas

Gracia Ribas is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of crop production and agronomy, currently serving as a Lecturer in Crop Production at HAS University of Applied Sciences since September 2020. Prior to this role, Gracia held positions including Product Selection Lead for Corn at Syngenta, where responsibilities included promoting corn hybrids across Southern and Southeastern Europe, and Lecturer in Agronomy at Tecnológico de Monterrey, focusing on plant anatomy, physiology, propagation, tissue culture, and genetic engineering. Gracia's extensive experience also includes serving as a Commercial Breeder at Monsanto Agricoltura Italia S.p.A., developing high-yield corn hybrids, and a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, specializing in genetic mapping of wheat. Gracia Ribas holds a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences from the University of Nottingham, a Master's Degree in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Sussex, and a Bachelor's Degree in Crop Production from Universidad Autonoma Chapingo.
