Rick Korten

Rick Korten is a professional with extensive experience in environmental science and compliance oversight. Currently serving as a Docent Milieukunde at HAS Hogeschool since January 2021, Rick previously worked as a Senior Adviseur Milieu at Synned from September 2019 to December 2020. From October 2013 to September 2019, Rick held the position of Medewerker Handhaving 1 at Omgevingsdienst Brabant Noord, focusing on compliance for complex agricultural enterprises. Prior roles included Toezichthouder Wabo at Gemeente 's-Hertogenbosch and various supervisory positions in municipalities such as Moerdijk and Roermond, covering a range of regulatory categories. Rick holds a degree in Milieukunde from Avans University of Applied Sciences, earned in 2002, and completed secondary education at Philips van Horne in 1997.
