Ryan Breed

Ryan Breed is an experienced professional in security and infrastructure, currently working in a security role at HashiCorp since May 2021. As the Director of Mayhem at Cascade Failure Inc. since August 2013, Ryan specializes in developing consulting services focused on resilience and complex systems. Previous roles include Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at CLEAR, Principal Security Operations Researcher at ThetaPoint, and Principal Security Content Engineer at Alert Logic. Ryan also has extensive experience from ERCOT, where responsibilities included developing security strategies for critical infrastructure and managing a team of security analysts. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Rochester and attendance at The LBJ School of Public Affairs.
