Masayuki Shimura

Born September 7, 1958. He worked for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation from 1982 to 2017. From April 2010 to March 2015, he was appointed as Executive Officer, Managing Executive Officer, General Manager of Asia / Pacific Headquarters, and Senior Managing Executive Officer (Member of Management Council) in April 2015. He is the Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Card from May 2017 to June 2019. He established Shimura & Partners in July 2019 based on his experience and achievements in Southeast Asia and FinTech, and became the representative director. He is currently an outside director of BASE Co., Ltd., Medpia Co., Ltd., bitFlyer Co., Ltd., and also an advisor to CAMPFIRE Co., Ltd. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo.
