Rich Santoroski

Rich Santoroski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and investment sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor and Chief Risk Officer at HASI since July 2020, Santoroski also holds a board member position at REsurety, Inc. In a previous role as Co-Founder and CEO of Funding Access, Inc., Santoroski focused on leveraging private equity approaches to enhance electricity access in sub-Saharan Africa. Additional entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Wye Holdings LLC, which emphasizes clean electricity and sustainable infrastructure, and American Capital Energy & Infrastructure, where $190 million was committed to power generation projects in emerging markets. Santoroski has held senior roles at The AES Corporation and New York State Electric & Gas, contributing to commercial strategy and risk management. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and Syracuse University, respectively, as well as an MBA from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
