Christopher Melander, AIA, NCARB, is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in major projects. Currently serving as a Project Architect at HASTINGS since August 2018, Christopher focuses on the design and construction of Nashville's new 30,000 seat Major League Soccer Stadium. Prior to this role, Christopher worked at Gensler from March 2013 to July 2018 as a Project Architect, leading teams of designers and engineers to deliver projects with budgets of up to $180M and overseeing technical solutions within the commercial office building studio. Earlier experience includes contributions to the workplace architecture studio at RTKL as a Project Designer from June 2011 to March 2013, and as a Student Intern at Cockrill Design and Planning, where practical experience was gained in PreK-12 and Higher Education construction. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2011 and completed high school at Beech High School in 2006.
