Jason Briggs

Jason Briggs has extensive experience in the resource industries, currently serving as Regional Manager - Resource Industries Site Performance at Hastings Deering since February 2012, after holding roles such as Mining Support Manager and Mining Support Representative. Prior to Hastings Deering, Jason Briggs worked at BMA from 2003 to 2012 in maintenance roles focusing on draglines, drills, and mobile equipment. Jason Briggs also has experience in the motorcycle industry from 1999 to 2003 in spare parts sales and mechanical positions, as well as various maintenance roles at BHP Coal and Cummins Diesel. Jason Briggs began a career in the mining sector as an apprentice from 1988 to 1992 before progressing to become a diesel fitter. In 2022, Jason Briggs completed the Sime Darby Strategic Leaders Program in Organizational Leadership at Queensland University of Technology.
