Patrick Privett

Patrick Privett has extensive experience in design engineering and project management. Patrick started their career as a Design Engineer at Henred Fruehauf Trailers in 1995. Patrick then moved on to work at Henred Fruehauf Parts Division as a Product Manager, where they managed production lines and staff members. Patrick also worked as a CNC Programmer at Plasma Cut and as a Product Engineer at DUYS COMPONENT MANUFACTURERS, where they designed various vehicle parts. Patrick later joined Transpec (Pty) Ltd as a Design Engineer, handling trailer and truck body design. Currently, they are employed at Hastings Deering as a Principal Design Engineer, leading a design team and managing large design projects.

Patrick Privett received a Certificate in Road Transport from the University of Johannesburg in 2005. Patrick then pursued further education and completed a Certificate IV in Frontline Management from the Australian Institute of Management in 2012. Patrick went on to earn a Master of Engineering Practice (MEPR) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, there is no information available regarding their field of study at the Durban University of Technology from 1992 to 1995.
