Peter Cootes

Peter Cootes has over 15 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management. Peter is currently serving as the Head of Warehouse Freight & Logistics at Hastings Deering. Prior to that, Peter worked as the Category Manager ANZ Freight and Logistics at George Weston Foods. In this role, they developed category plans and strategies across Australia and New Zealand. Peter also served as the Warehouse and Distribution Manager QLD at George Weston Foods, where they focused on optimizing warehouse operations and managing resources. Earlier in their career, Peter worked as the Supply Chain Manager at Neta-A Division of Husqvarna Group Australia and Goodman Fielder.

Peter Cootes has a diverse education history. In 2009, they obtained a Certificate IV Frontline Management from Goodman Fielder, focusing on the field of Business. From 2015 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Griffith University. In 2019, they attended The GAP Partnership, where they studied The Complete Skilled Negotiator. Additionally, Peter has obtained various certifications including Resilience Program from Springfox in 2021, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) from HACCP International in 2018, Positive Blue Card Working with Children from the Queensland Government in 2017, and Lean Manufacturing from Goodman Fielder in 2008.
