Sebastian commenced his career with Hastings Deering in 2017, taking on the role of General Manager, Marketing and Customer Experience, in 2020 this was updated to General Manager, Marketing and Digital Solutions and in 2022 has taken ownership of the Executive General Manager, Construction Industries role.
Sebastian oversees the implementation of the company's digital strategy to transform all aspects of the business and the way Hasting Deering engages, communicates, and transacts with customers, employees, and partners.
Some of his key roles include Strategic Marketing; Marketing and Brand; Customer Experience; Data Governance, Analytics, and Insight; and Digital Solutions.
Before joining Hastings Deering, Sebastian spent 20 years with Paris-based Oil Major TOTAL SA where he held multiple roles across the globe, including Energy Trading in London, Norway, and Singapore.
As a previous commodities trader, Sebastian is a member of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and holds Certificates in Derivatives Trading and Financial Services Regulations.
