Rich Small has over 20 years of work experience in the field of IT network and security. Rich began their career at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in 1999 as a Senior Network and Security Engineer, specializing in LAN/WAN, switching, and IT security. Rich worked in this role until 2017 when they transitioned to become a Network and Security Specialist. In 2019, they joined Hastings Direct as a Security Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Network Engineer. Currently, they serve as the Cloud Network Operations Lead at Hastings Direct since 2022.
Rich Small attended Warlingham Secondary from 1993 to 1999, where they pursued an Advanced GNVQ in Business. Prior to that, they attended Warlingham from 1992 to 1998, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General. In 2013, Rich Small obtained a certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council.
