Phil Freeman has a strong background in software engineering and has held various roles throughout their career. Phil is currently working at Hasura as a Principal Software Engineer since February 2023. Prior to that, they were at Deep Channel where they served as a Software Team Lead from October 2021 to February 2023.
From 2019 to 2021, Phil worked at Hasura in multiple positions. Phil was a Senior Engineering Manager from January 2021 to October 2021, a Lead Software Engineer from March 2020 to January 2021, and a Software Engineer from December 2019 to March 2020.
Before joining Hasura, Phil worked at Lumi as a Full Stack Engineer from May 2017 to November 2019. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Awake Security from December 2015 to April 2017. Phil also served as a Senior Software Engineer at DICOM Grid from May 2013 to December 2015, and at Cornerstone OnDemand from September 2012 to May 2013.
Phil started their career at Nowcom in July 2010 as a Senior Software Engineer II. Phil'sresponsibilities there included developing a reusable graphical query designer, query backend, and administration tool, as well as implementing a DSL and associated tools for in-app training scripts. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at Candelis, Inc. from October 2008 to July 2010.
Phil's earliest work experience was as a Software Developer Intern at TTPCom in 2006.
Phil Freeman attended the University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Freeman's degree at Cambridge was an MA MMath. Additionally, in December 2013, Freeman obtained certifications in Machine Learning and Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera.
