Tamara Williams

Tamara Williams has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Tamara worked as a Director of Technical Design at HATCH Collective starting from 2023. At Marquee Brands, they held multiple roles, including Technical Designer from 2021 to 2023, where they managed all aspects of technical design for various brands and product categories. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Designer for KBL Group International LTD from 2020 to 2021, where they were responsible for the fit and construction of sweaters for different brands. Tamara also has experience at EXPRESS, where they worked as a Sr. Technical Designer from 2013 to 2020, collaborating with design teams and implementing new technology. At Macys, they worked as a Web PDM/PLM Analyst from 2006 to 2012 and as a Technical Designer from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have experience as an Associate Development Technical Designer at ANN INC from 1999 to 2002 and as a Domestic Production Manager at SML Sport LTD from 1997 to 1999.

Tamara Williams has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Tamara also participated in a study abroad program at Nottingham Trent University, where they focused on mastering hands-on skills in sweater handflat machine knitting and garment construction. Additionally, they attended Polimoda, another study abroad program, where they specialized in Fashion Design with a focus on Illustration.
