Michael Gruen

Michael Gruen is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development across various companies. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Layr, responsibilities include technology strategy, team leadership, and product oversight. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at Cherre, Vice President of Engineering and CISO at Cybrary, and Vice President of Product & Platform at RedOwl Analytics, where Michael led software development and data operations. Additionally, Michael co-hosts The Pair Program podcast, engaging in discussions with tech leaders, and has a solid foundation in software development and IT through experiences at various organizations, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
