Luis Adolfo Villalobos

Luis Adolfo Villalobos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Luis Adolfo is currently serving as the Director of LatAm Customer Engagement at HatchWorks since September 2021. Prior to this, they had a private legal practice as a Lawyer starting from May 2020. Luis Adolfo also worked as a Facilities & Operations Manager at Cheetah Digital from September 2020 to September 2021.

Before their legal practice, Luis held managerial positions at OTSI - Object Technology Solutions Inc. from November 2014 to May 2020. Luis Adolfo served as a Business Development Manager from April 2018 to May 2020 and earlier as a Business Process & Operations Manager from November 2014 to April 2018.

Earlier in their career, Luis worked as a Supervisor at Thomson Reuters Westlaw from July 2012 to April 2014. Luis Adolfo also had a brief stint as an Asociado at KPMG Costa Rica in 2014.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Luis gained customer service experience at Sykes, where they worked as a Customer Service Agent and Floor Support Representative from March 2011 to June 2012.

Additionally, Luis contributed their legal expertise as a Pro Bono Court Justice at the Juzgado Penal de La Unión, a department of the Costa Rican Bar Association, from January 2009 to October 2009. Luis Adolfo also served as a Paralegal at Costa Rican Bar Association/Consultorios Jurídicos from January 2006 to August 2006.

Luis Adolfo Villalobos has an expansive education history, spanning various fields of study. Luis Adolfo began their educational journey in 2006 at the Universidad Autónoma de Centro América, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Law in 2010. Luis Adolfo continued their studies at the same university and earned a Graduate degree (J.D equivalent) in Law in 2013.

In 2014, Luis Villalobos enrolled in multiple programs to diversify their knowledge. Luis Adolfo completed an Anti-Money Laundering course at the New York Institute of Finance and a Financial Analyst- Financial Modelling course through the Amba Research Learning Program. Luis Adolfo also obtained a Certificate from the FranklinCovey Leadership Program.

In the following years, Luis pursued further education in information technology and security. In 2015, they attained a certification in ITIL v3 from EXIN and a Prince2 certification from ACQUIROS INC. Additionally, they participated in a Cost per hire webinar organized by LinkedIn.

In 2018, Luis Villalobos expanded their expertise in computer and information systems security by earning the Security+ certification from CompTIA. Luis Adolfo also completed a course in Ethical Hacking and Information Security at Universidad Cenfotec.

Moving towards a more strategic career path, Luis pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Management from the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana, which they completed in 2018. Their field of study focused on Management and Business Process Automation.

To enhance their skill set, Luis Villalobos obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they received an ITIL V3 certification from EXIN and a Prince2 certification from ACQUIROS, Inc. In 2018, they acquired expertise in InfoSec and Ethical Hacking techniques from Universidad Cenfotec. Their most recent certification is the ICAgile Certified Professional Leading with Agility, which they obtained from ICAgile in November 2021.
