Ralph Weiss, LMFT, has a diverse range of work experience in the mental health field. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Residential Social Worker at Ettie Lee Youth and Family Services, providing therapeutic services to boys in a group home. During this time, they also helped start the Department of Mental Health-Day Rehabilitation program.
In 1995, Ralph joined the Primal Training Center as an Outpatient Clinic Psychotherapist. Ralph'srole involved completing the Primal Therapy training program and providing long-term depth-oriented psychotherapy to adults.
From 2003 to 2006, Ralph returned to Ettie Lee Youth and Family Services as a Therapeutic Social Worker. Ralph implemented the Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment model in a group home setting and received intensive training and supervision in DBT.
In 2002, Ralph started their own Private Practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Ralph provided individual, couples, and family therapy, combining various therapeutic approaches such as psycho-dynamic, Imago Relationship Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Primal Therapy.
Lastly, Ralph worked at Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services from 2006 to the present. Initially serving as a Clinical Supervisor, they provided supervision to licensed and intern clinicians in various programs. Ralph later became an Assistant Director, supervising interns and trainees, training staff, overseeing services, and liaising with county departments. Additionally, Ralph wrote psychiatric hold applications for clients when necessary.

Ralph Weiss, LMFT holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Ralph also obtained a Clinical Psychology Intern Certificate from Wright Institute, Los Angeles, specializing in psycho-analytically oriented psychodynamic therapy, from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they have been a candidate for a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Westwood from 2010 to 2013.
In terms of additional certifications, Ralph Weiss holds the designation of CAMFT Certified Supervisor from the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, which they obtained in March 2012. Ralph also holds the LPS Designation (5150) from the LA County Department of Mental Health, obtained in February 2012. Moreover, they have been certified as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy since June 2008. Furthermore, Ralph Weiss holds the IMAGO Relationship Therapist certification from IMAGO Relationships International\\Pasadena Institute for Relationships, obtained in November 2003.
