Amber Long

Amber Long has extensive experience in event management and catering, currently holding a position in Catering and Special Events at Hattie B's Hot Chicken since July 2019. Previous roles include Event Manager at Flavor Catering from February 2012 to July 2019 and Development Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio's College of Engineering in 2011. Amber co-owned The Violet Hour, LLC, where conceptualization and e-commerce development took place from October 2007 to March 2011. Early experience includes an internship at Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, Inc., providing editorial and research support for academic publications. Amber Long holds an M.A. in English from University College London and a B.A. in English Literature with a focus on Creative Writing from Loyola University Chicago, complemented by study abroad experience at the John Felice Rome Center.
