Prasad Samarasinghe

Prasad Samarasinghe is the current Director at Hatton National Bank. Prasad has also worked as the Managing Director at Bellvantage (Pvt) Ltd, Director at eChannelling PLC, and CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (SUPPORT SERVICES) at Sri Lanka Insurance.

Prasad began their career in September 2003 at Sri Lanka Insurance. Prasad then moved to eChannelling PLC in September 2004, where they worked until June 2009. In September 2008, they joined Bellvantage (Pvt) Ltd as Managing Director, a position they held until December 2011. Prasad then worked at HNB General Insurance and Hatton National Bank PLC before taking their current position.

Prasad Samarasinghe has a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from The Australian National University, a Master's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. Prasad also has a certification from Huawei in Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA) - Video Conference, a certification from Avaya in Avaya Midsize Solutions Sales Specialized, a certification from Huawei in HCSA-Sales-Intelligent Collaboration, a certification from Sophos in Sophos Certified Sales Consultant, and a certification from Microsoft in MCSE.
