Ruwan Manatunga

Ruwan Manatunga is the current Deputy General Manager Risk / Chief Risk Officer at Hatton National Bank. Ruwan previously worked at HSBC from July 2004 to November 2012, where they were the Deputy Head / Senior Manager of Corporate Banking. In this role, they led a team of corporate relationship managers and was responsible for the growth of the corporate banking business. Ruwan also spearhead the ‘New to Bank’ customer acquisition program and set up a dedicated Chinese desk to market and capture lucrative Chinese businesses involved in major infrastructure projects across Sri Lanka.
