Scott Topiol is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as a Senior Nursing Instructor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, where responsibilities include providing continuing education and quality improvement support for Firefighter EMTs and Paramedics. In addition to this role, Scott holds the position of Lieutenant and Senior Assistant Nurse Officer in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Hatzolah of Los Angeles

Hatzolah of Los Angeles' Mission is to meet the pre-hospital emergency medical needs of the communities it serves. Hatzolah of Los Angeles was established in 2001 as an IRS 501(c)3 Non-Profit corporation, and is the only ALL Volunteer EMS in Los Angeles City. With the support and endorsement of our local community leaders and the local EMS providers, to date close to 100 Hatzolah volunteers have been trained and certified by Los Angeles County EMS Agency as Emergency Medical Technicians. All Hatzolah members are equipped with Life-saving equipment such as, Oxygen, Airway management devices, Trauma management accessories and AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators). Hatzolah’s members are all linked to a dispatch center via a sophisticated communication system and ready to respond to all medical emergency 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additionally, Hatzolah has a Medical Advisory Board, consisting of distinguished physicians (M.D.) within the community, with whom Hatzolah regularly consults.
