Marco Seifried

Marco Seifried has extensive work experience in the technology and engineering field. Marco is currently the Head of Technology at Haufe Akademie since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Haufe Group for over a decade, where they held various roles including Head of Engineering, Lead Architect, Lead Platform Architect, and Team Manager Integration, Portals & Platform. Marco also served as the Distinguished Architect and Deputy Chief Software Architect at Haufe Group, where they worked on strategic projects and provided technical guidance and IT strategy development. Before joining Haufe Group, Marco worked at IBM UK as an IT Architect, where they had roles such as Beta Program Manager, architect for high-profile clients, and responsible Client Architect for Central Government institutions in the UK.

Marco Seifried began their education by attending Windeck Gymnasium from 1980 to 1993. Marco then went on to study at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Diplom Mathematiker degree. In 1997, they attended Solent University for Mathematics and Computer Science before transferring to the University of Hamburg from 1998 to 2000, where they also earned a Diplom Mathematiker degree. In terms of additional certifications, Marco obtained the AWS Certified Solution Architect certification from PSI in 2017. Marco also received certifications in Togaf 9 from The Open Group and IBM Cloud Computing Architecture from Pearson VUE in 2014.
