David focuses on patent matters involving electronics and computer related technologies. His practice includes patent litigation in federal district court, inter partes review (IPR) and other post-grant proceedings in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, patent procurement and portfolio development, licensing, intellectual property due diligence, and counseling on matters such as the infringement, enforceability, and validity of US patents.

His experience spans a broad spectrum of technologies, including optoelectronics, computer architecture, cryptography, e money, internet business methods, financial instrument trading methods and systems, energy management systems including industrial automation/control and electrical distribution, linear synchronous motors (LSMs), oil and gas industry technology including turbomachinery and pipeline sensors, LCDs, medical devices and imaging including MRI, RFID, switched mode power converters, semiconductor devices and fabrication including CMOS image sensors, telematics, video and audio compression, and telecommunications and wireless communications including TDMA (IS-54, IS-136, and GSM), CDMA (IS-95), and OFDMA/OFDM.

During his graduate studies, David held an IBM Ph.D. Fellowship, and his doctoral research concerned semiconductor device physics and fabrication technology.
