Quentin Gemine

Quentin Gemine has a strong background in the energy sector, with experience in both industry and academia. Quentin is currently the Head of Intelligent Systems Solutions at haulogy, where they lead a team in developing intelligent software solutions for the energy sector using advanced optimization and machine learning technology. Prior to this, Quentin was the CEO and Co-Founder of Blacklight analytics, a company specializing in complex decision-making issues in the energy sector. Quentin also worked as a Senior Research Engineer at the University of Liège, focusing on modeling and optimization of electrical systems, particularly microgrids, and researching new approaches for operating decentralized production units and electric distribution networks with renewable energy.

Quentin Gemine's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at the University of Liège for their undergraduate degree in Engineering and Computer Science. Quentin pursued this program for a duration of five years, completing it in 2012. After obtaining their Master's degree, Quentin continued their academic journey at the same institution and, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a PhD in engineering with a specialization in Operations Research and Power Systems. This four-year program provided Quentin with advanced knowledge and expertise in their field of study.
