Elizabeth Portanova

Elizabeth Portanova is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the art gallery sector. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Events at Hauser & Wirth since December 2016, Portanova leads strategic marketing campaigns and coordinates over 30 public and private events annually, significantly contributing to gallery sales and artist exhibitions. Previously, Portanova established the LA Marketing department from scratch and orchestrated a successful communications campaign for Amy Sherald's first West Coast exhibition. Portanova's earlier role as Marketing Director at Los Angeles Modern Auctions involved developing targeted messaging and improving internal systems. Elizabeth Portanova holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, with a focus on Advertising and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
