Sarah Allen

Sarah Allen has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Sarah began their career at Contrasts Gallery in Shanghai as an Exhibition & Art Fair Coordinator from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, Sarah joined Hauser & Wirth where they held various roles, including Archive: sales, research, and writing from 2007 to 2009, Secondary Market Project Coordinator in Research from 2009 to 2010, Head of Research from 2010 to 2020, and eventually became the Senior Director and Head of Research in July 2020.

Sarah Allen completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Pomona College, where they graduated cum laude in 2003. Sarah then pursued a Master of Arts in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London, from 2004 to 2005.
