IHI Hauzer Techno Coating
Clayton S. is a Senior Design Engineer at IHI Hauzer Techno Coating B.V. since November 2022, focusing on 3D module creation for a new smaller machine aimed at startups and conducting product coating research. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at A.C.K SOLUTIONS, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Filmatic Packaging Systems, where Clayton designed inline filling machines and efficient machine designs with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness and accuracy. Early career experiences include a Mechanical Engineering internship at Usabco, a slot attendant position at Carnival Cruise Line, and academic roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Physics Tutor at the University of the Western Cape. Clayton holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a BSc in Physics from the University of the Western Cape.
