Francisco de Santibañes

Francisco de Santibañes is an experienced professional in international relations and economics. Currently serving as Presidente of the Consejo Argentino para las Relaciones Internacionales since October 2017, Francisco has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Vicepresidente, Secretario General, and Tesorero. Francisco is also a board member at Havanna SA since 2012 and has been involved with Universidad Austral as an Associate Professor and member of the Advisory Business Council from 2019 to March 2024. Additional experience includes a role as Global Fellow at The Wilson Center from May 2019 to August 2023 and as a columnist for Infobae from February 2020 to July 2021. Francisco directed Fundación Pensar from 2010 to 2012 and was a visiting researcher at the Manhattan Institute in 2000. Educationally, Francisco pursued a PhD in War Studies at King's College London, holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and earned a degree in Business Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
