Raj Chadalavada Ph.D.

Raj Chadalavada, PhD, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Raj currently holds the position of VP, Medical Director at Havas Health Plus since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Scientific Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness from October 2017 to January 2020. Raj also worked as a Scientific Director at Publicis LifeBrands Medicus from October 2012 to September 2017. Before entering the field of healthcare communications, Raj worked as a Research Associate at both Harrison and Star from April 2010 to September 2012 and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from February 2001 to March 2010. Raj started their career as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at MPIPZ - Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research from October 1997 to October 2000.

Raj Chadalavada, PhD, MBA began their education at Taluka Junior College, Tenali from 1983 to 1986, where they pursued intermediate education with a focus on biology. Raj then enrolled in Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning from 1986 to 1989, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosciences. Building upon this foundation, Raj continued their education at the same institute, earning a Master of Science degree in Biosciences from 1989 to 1991. Seeking further specialization, they enrolled in the University of Hyderabad and pursued a PhD in Life Sciences from 1992 to 1997. Raj's educational journey concluded at NYU Stern School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from 2007 to 2009.
