Samantha Montero

Samantha Montero has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Samantha is currently working as a Senior Art Director at Havas Life New York since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Art Director at Klick from November 2020 to June 2022.

Before their roles as an art director, Samantha gained experience through internships and assistant positions. Samantha interned as a Brand Creative Intern at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from September 2019 to May 2020. Samantha also worked as a Design Intern at reitdesign, inc. for a brief period from September 2018 to December 2018.

In addition, Samantha has experience in the museum and photography sectors. Samantha worked as a Sales Manager at Rialto Jean Project from March 2015 to February 2016, where they utilized social media advertisements, coordinated shipments, and built clientele. Samantha also worked as a Retail Sales Associate/Stock at NU New York from August 2014 to February 2015, where they contributed to styling customers, managing store sales, and developing an inventory system. Before that, Samantha worked as a Key Holder at Miss Hoe Boutique from October 2013 to August 2014, where they handled blog posts, customer service, and store organization.

Samantha Montero attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020, earning a BFA in Advertising and Digital Design. Prior to that, they studied Design and Visual Communications at Hunter College from 2014 to 2017. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued Black and White Film Photography at the International Center of Photography. Samantha completed their high school education at the High School of Fashion Industries from 2010 to 2014, focusing on Visual Merchandise/Fashion Marketing with a specialization in Computer Application.
