Director Of Quality, Risk & Accreditation at Havasu Regional Medical Center

Shannon Dietz has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Shannon currently holds the position of Associate Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety at Baptist Medical Center South, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Quality, Risk & Accreditation at Havasu Regional Medical Center, starting in August 2020. Shannon also served as the Director of Clinical Operations and Compliance at Midcoast Senior Health Center, starting in June 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked at Stephens Memorial Hospital as a Project Manager, Quality and Safety from December 2011 to July 2017, and as an RN/Lactation Consultant in the Labor and Delivery department from December 2008 to December 2011. Shannon started their career as an EMT at Raymond Fire Rescue Department, working from March 1998 to January 2015. Shannon also worked as an RN in the Labor and Delivery department at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center from September 2001 to September 2007.

Shannon Dietz completed their Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Purdue Global from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended the University of New England from 1997 to 2001, where they earned their ADN and BSN degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

In terms of additional certifications, Shannon Dietz obtained the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality in 2016. Shannon also earned the Certified Professional in Patient Safety certification from the National Patient Safety Foundation in February 2014.
