Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith has a diverse work experience in the housing and higher education sectors. Andrew currently holds the position of Senior Independent Director at the University of Suffolk since August 2019. Previously, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Havebury Housing Partnership from October 2018. Prior to this, Andrew held multiple roles at GreenSquare Group, including Operations Director from March 2014 to October 2018 and Executive Director (Place) from July 2000 to March 2014. Andrew began their career as the Director of Property Services at Circle Anglia in July 1991, where they served until July 2000.

Andrew Smith attended Mclaren High School in Callander from 1977 to 1983. Andrew then pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree at the University of Glasgow from 1983 to 1986. Following that, they obtained a Diploma in Architecture from The Glasgow School of Art from 1987 to 1990. Later, they attended Oxford Brookes University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
