Sumit Pande

Sumit Pande is an experienced professional in private equity and investment banking, currently serving as the Senior Managing Director at Haveli Investments since September 2022, focusing on private equity investments in software companies. Prior to this role, Sumit was the Head of the Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Department at Qatar Investment Authority from 2017 to 2022, overseeing investments in the TMT sectors. Sumit's extensive background includes serving as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, Director at UBS Investment Bank, and Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston, along with engineering roles at IBM/Siemens/Toshiba Alliance and Applied Materials. Sumit holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Caltech, and a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). Early education was completed at The Army Public School in New Delhi.
