Karen Plesh, CPM®, has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Karen currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Haven Residential, starting in 2022.

Prior to their current role, Karen worked at Hunt Companies, Inc from 2016 to 2021, where they held the position of Vice President Operations. In this role, they reported directly to the President and was responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a business enterprise with revenue exceeding $700 million and over 34,000 homes.

Before Hunt Companies, Karen worked at Orion Real Estate Services, LLC in 2015 as the Senior Vice President Operations. Karen managed a portfolio of 10,000 units of conventional apartments and townhomes and handled all third-party client or partner communications.

Karen's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Morgan Properties starting in 1994. During their time there, they held multiple roles such as Senior Vice President Operations, Regional Vice President, and Regional Manager. In these positions, they managed large portfolios of multi-family homes, participated in IPO preparation, oversaw due-diligence processes for property acquisitions, and coordinated consolidation of findings for potential equity partners.

Karen Plesh, CPM®, holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini University. Karen also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing-Management from Siena College. In addition to their academic qualifications, Karen has obtained certifications in various areas related to apartment management, including being a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) Trainer and a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) Trainer from the National Apartment Association. Karen is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM) certified by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
