Green Associate Emma Rey (Starkman)

Emma Rey (Starkman), LEED Green Associate, currently serves as the Sustainability Manager at 29th Street Communities, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Emma held the role of Senior Operations Manager at the Center for Sustainable Energy from September 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing budgets and program delivery for clean transportation initiatives. Earlier experience includes a four-year tenure as Sustainability Manager at Foundation Communities, focusing on green operations and resident engagement, and as Environmental Education Coordinator, emphasizing program development and sustainability training. Emma also participated in AmeriCorps VISTA and has a background in retail management, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo.
