Matt Merson has 18 years of work experience in the food and beverage industry. In 2001, they began their career as a Director of National Accounts with Sara Lee. Matt then moved to Coca-Cola Enterprises in 2004 as a Channel Director. In 2006, they became a Director of National Accounts / Food Service with glaceau vitaminwater. In 2010, they were a Director of National Sales with Aramark, and in 2011 they became VP of National Accounts and International Sales with ZICO Beverages, LLC. In 2014, they joined Boxed Water is Better as Vice President of Sales and led the commercialization of sustainable packaged boxed water. In 2017, they were Sr Vice President of Sales with UPTIME Energy, Inc. In 2018, they were Vice President and General Manager with TIO GAZPACHO, and in 2020 they became Vice President of Sales - Retail and Food Service with SIMULATE. Most recently, in 2022 they became Head of Strategy with Haven's Kitchen.

Matt Merson completed their MBA in Marketing Management from Pace University - Lubin School of Business in 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Communication from University at Albany, SUNY in 1989. Matt completed their diploma from Dobbs Ferry in 1985.
