Andriy Savelyev - Captain / Sdpo - Ukrainian - Resident In Poland

Andriy Savelyev is a Ukrainian maritime professional residing in Poland with extensive experience in various roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as Master and SDPO at Havila Shipping ASA since August 2018, Andriy has faced diverse challenges across projects in the Baltic and Mediterranean seas. Prior experience includes a tenure as Chief Mate and SDPO at Topaz Energy and Marine from October 2014 to September 2017, where substantial experience was gained in DP charters and operations with the Semi Submersible Platform “Sedco Express” in Equatorial Guinea. Additionally, Andriy worked as Second Mate and JDPO at Tidewater Marine from July 2012 to May 2014, engaging in operations at multiple Aramco oil fields. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Navigation and a Bachelor’s degree in Navigation from Odesa National Maritime Academy, as well as training from Odesa Maritime College of Technical Fleet.
