Kenneth Fiskerstrand

Kenneth Fiskerstrand has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Kenneth started their career as a Cadet at Farstad Shipping ASA in 2006 and worked there until 2009. From 2010 to 2015, they served as a 2nd Officer/SDPO on a ROV vessel at Solstad Offshore ASA. Kenneth then worked as a DPO at Uksnøy & Co. AS from January 2010 to June 2010. In 2016, they had temporary contracts as a Contracts Officer/DPO with various companies. From 2018 to the present, they have been working at Havila Shipping ASA, initially as a 2nd Officer responsible for navigation and currently as a Chief Officer/SDPO. In addition to their industry experience, Kenneth also worked as an Instructor and Assistant at Aalesund University College from 2008 to 2019.

Kenneth Fiskerstrand obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from Ålesund University College (HiÅ) between 2005 and 2008. In addition to their degree, they have earned several certifications, including COP - Fast Rescue Boat, Certificate of proficiency Deck Officer class 2, BRM STCW-2010, COP - Survival craft, HLO Basic Course, including Awareness Training Dangerous Goods, ECDIS, Type Specific Furuno, COP - Seafarers with designated security duties, COP - Advanced Fire Fighting, COP-Medical First Aid, HUET with EBS, General Radio Operator Certificate (GOC/GMDSS), DP Certificate, Unlimited, and ISM - Internal Auditor.
