Morris Atta

Deputy to the Chairperson, DOA at Hawaii.gov

Morris served as the Deputy to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture since 2019, assisting in the oversight of all departmental matters including maintaining operational efficiency, developing new administrative policies, and coordinating legislative proposals.

He has also served numerous roles at HDOA such as the Acting Agricultural Loan Division Administrator, Acting Title VI Nondiscrimination Coordinator, and the Agricultural Land Program Manager. Through these roles, he assisted in the creation and management of agricultural parks and revenue streams to promote the sustainability of the department and agriculture in Hawaiʻi.
