Programming and Operations

About

The Programming and Operations team at the Hawai‘i International Film Festival (HIFF) is responsible for curating and organizing the festival's diverse film lineup, which includes features, documentaries, and shorts from Asia and the Pacific, as well as films by Hawai‘i filmmakers. They oversee the selection process from an initial pool of around 1,000 films, narrowing it down to approximately 150 for screening. Additionally, the team coordinates logistical aspects of the festival, including seminars, workshops, special award presentations, and managing festival operations to ensure a seamless and enriching cinematic experience for all attendees.
